I like to flyfish, swim, mountain bike. My goal was always to do a triathlon so I signed up for a couple. But what I started noticing in my long workouts was real shortness of breath and trouble getting my heart rate back down and recovered. 

I found out it was a genetic mutation. It wasn’t just him; it wasn’t just an isolated person.

I had just gone in for a routine medical examination. At the end of that appointment the anesthesiologist said it’s not a normal EKG.
