Change for the better

The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation is excited to be a selected recipient of Mystic Lake’s Change For The Better program in February of 2023.

In May 2017, Mystic Lake launched the Change for The Better charitable program where guests can donate their change from their ATR (Automatic Ticket Redemption) cash vouchers to a selected charity. The program allows Mystic Lake to support the current charitable efforts of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and provide guests with the option to make a generous donation to local charities that impacts local communities.

MHIF is grateful to be a part of this program for the third time, having first been selected in 2018. Thank you to all those who participated and put good cents to good use!

We are honored to celebrate the culmination of years of research that has resulted in new technologies for patients! In the few last weeks, we announced a similar research milestone with the FDA approval of the TriClip system for tricuspid regurgitation. We celebrated this important milestone with local media KSTP-TV, who spotlighted the importance of this new technology. We were proud to be a leading clinical site led by Global PI Dr. Paul Sorajja and the MHIF research team who contributed significant data to the pivotal trial.
