Recent articles from The Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) Consortium: The Coronary Artery Calcium Consortium is a multi-center observational cohort study from four clinical centers, including the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, linked to long-term follow-up for cause-specific mortality. The CAC Consortium is large and highly generalizable data set that is uniquely positioned to expand the understanding of CAC as a predictor of mortality risk across the spectrum of disease states, allowing innovative modeling of the competing risks of cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular death.    

This annual lecture honors the work of Dr. Kevin J. Graham and features international leaders in the field of cardiovascular prevention. A tireless and innovative thought leader in cardiology, Dr. Graham served as president of the Minneapolis Heart Institute® and the Cardiovascular Services Division of Abbott Northwestern Hospital from 2007 to 2012. He established and led the Preventive Cardiology practice and was Director of Outpatient Clinical Laboratory at the Minneapolis Heart.
