Gabriel Olivares, MD

Cardiac Surgeon

Dr. Gabriel Olivares is a cardiac surgeon at the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute. Dr. Olivares received his medical degree, general surgery and cardiac surgery training from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile. He additionally completed a 3-year fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Following his training, he returned to Santiago, Chile where he practiced for 7 years. Dr. Olivares has specific clinical interests in Complex and Re-do Surgery, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting and Aortic Surgery.
