For over 40 years, the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) has been one of the leading nonprofit cardiovascular research and education institutions in the country.

Our life-changing work leads to exciting breakthroughs that wouldn’t be possible without our community of patients and supporters. At any given time, more than 200 studies are underway that offer cutting-edge treatments to more than 2,000 patients across all areas of cardiovascular care.
