Until On the Pulse | Nourishing Your Heart Begins

Event Details:

Join us for our series of free, virtual presentations from leaders in research and care at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation® (MHIF) and the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute® (AHMHI) who will address the latest in cardiovascular treatment and advancements.

Eating a heart-healthy diet is an important step in reducing your risk for cardiovascular disease. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), “Poor diet quality is strongly associated with elevated risk of cardiovascular disease.” The link between nutrition and cardiovascular disease has long been established, but what constitutes a heart-healthy diet?

In this webinar, we will navigate the often-confusing landscape of nutrition and heart health. In a world overflowing with mixed messages from the media, it can be challenging to discern what truly supports our heart health. We aim to cut through the noise and provide you with proven, evidence-based guidance on making heart-healthy choices.

Join this On the Pulse session to learn more about:

  • Consumer food choices/trends and their impact on health and disease prevention
  • Current nutrition guidelines and how to bolster health-enhancing food choices for your health
  • Distinguishing between reliable nutrition information and popular press
