Davide Margonato, MD

Dr. Davide Margonato joined the MHIF Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center and Core Lab, representing the University of San Raffaele in Milan Italy, where he is a Senior Cardiologist in the Cardiovascular Imaging Unit. Dr. Margonato is experienced in interventional echocardiography in structural heart procedures, such as MitraClip, TAVI, Valve-in-Valve, and left atrial appendage closure. He will complement this skillset by focusing on cardiac CT & MRI valvular heart disease research during his time at MHIF. Dr. Margonato also has several research accomplishments already, including first author and co-author to over 35 peer-reviewed publications and an ESC Young Investigator award in 2020.
