Medical Audiovisual, Illustration and Animation Intern

 AJ join MHIF's Center of Coronary Artery Disease as the first Medical Audiovisual, Illustration and Animation (MAIA) Intern. In her role, AJ focuses on developing animations and illustrations for the CTO App.

AJ received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts and later graduated first in her class with a Master of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY in 2024. During her time there, she worked with Dr. Caroline Eastman’s Clinical Psychology Research Team to create an interactive Fetal Alcohol Syndrome educational module and created promotional posters advertising RIT’s Forensic Clinical Psychology Minor. She additionally worked with the Dye Lab at the University of Rochester, NY where she worked on animations to enhance Dr. Dye’s team’s research on Medical Ecology and Obstetrics.
