Spyridon (Spyros) Kostantinis, MD

Spyros joins MHIF from Athens, Greece where he obtained his MD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2019. Following graduation from medical school, Spyros worked as a Rural Physician in his hometown, at the General Hospital of Karditsa, Health Center of Mouzaki, Greece. He also worked as Medical Director for a local football club (Saragia) in Greece.

Spyros has been a meritorious student receiving scholarships and awards for academic excellence in panhellenic exams and medical school, including from Eurobank and the Papadakis A. Scholarship at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His interest in cardiology started early when he received the Medical Student Excellence Award in Cardiology Clerkship from the 1st Department of Cardiology, “Ippokrateio” General Hospital of Athens. Spyros’ goal is to pursue specialty training, and ultimately a career in cardiology.
