cheesecakeartanddesign

Like a perfectly baked cheesecake, my work is a decadent treat full of complex flavors. As an introvert, I make wearable art using polymer clay layered with many other mediums to bring more color into the world and connect with others. My jewelry is accessible to all and celebrates living authentically by baking serious topics like mental health and sexuality into classically happy elements like hearts, flowers, and sunshine. I love blurring the lines between childhood nostalgia and adulthood chaos with my art. Every piece of Cheesecake art is an invitation to be playful in all aspects of your life and not be afraid to express yourself!

Each set comes with a pair of matching glasses, one filled with a 100% soy wax candle and the other waiting to be filled with the accompanying cocktail recipe inspired by the candle scent. When the candle is gone, you will have a beautifully curated pair of vintage glasses to adorn your bar cart or kitchen shelves.

studio ruyee

Studio Ruyee is the manifestation of Anita’s many interwoven threads. Textiles created by Studio Ruyee’s artisans in India are accretive in nature. Each piece expresses the interaction between the labor of one phase atop the labor of an earlier stage. From the farmers in Karnataka who feed mulberry to the silk worms to the thread makers, dyers, and weavers in West Bengal, each member of this creative web builds on the labors of their partners. Similar relationships prevail in the creation of textiles made of wool and cotton. In addition, positive environmental and market forces are required to bring this art to life.
