Global Impact

Driving Change Around the World

The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation’s primary objective is to improve the cardiovascular health of individuals and communities through innovative research and education. Whether on a local, national or global basis, our work is saving and improving lives. As Vibhu Kshettry, MD, notes, “It is wonderful to save one patient. It is even better to teach a whole group or medical team who can impact far more than ourselves individually!”

MHIF is involved in many global educational initiatives. Those initiatives allow us to multiply the impact of our knowledge so that those with cardiovascular disease across the world can live longer, healthier lives.

Children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia is a prime example of the global work we are involved with today.
