Join us for the 3rd Annual SCADaddle for Research 5K
Saturday, May 14, 2022 Battle Creek Regional Park & Virtual
Come out for a fun run/walk or join us virtually! Proceeds will benefit the research of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection.
Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood type of heart attack. Most patients are younger healthy women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. SCAD can recur and can be fatal. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options.
SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms.
SCADaddle 5k
Our 5K trail fun Run/Walk takes place at Battle Creek Regional Park on winding trails through natural areas that offer a spectacular look at Ramsey County’s diverse landscape.
Join us for a community feel with kid’s activities and a playground all while shopping the SCAD store. We will also have a quick warm up, announce our quilt raffle winner and have a briefing on SCAD!
Race Bibs will be given and the first 400 runners & walkers will be awarded a medal.
